Thank you for your interest in Community Bible Study (CBS)!

Come see what happens when people discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly from Fall through Spring; we offer in-person class at Capo Beach Church, or we have two options for online class.

Each class participant receives a course study book with commentary and home study questions. In class we participate in small group discussions reviewing the lesson for the week, and we also receive an inspired large group teaching from our Teaching Director. We also regularly gather for fellowship meals with our tables that provide special times of sharing and relationship building.

Currently Studying: Psalms

For the 2026-2027 season we will study the book of James for 6 weeks and then Genesis for the remainder of the year.

Although Genesis is an ancient book, it speaks to some of the biggest questions we have today.

- Is there a God? If so, what is He like?

- Why is there evil in the world?

- Why are we here and where can we find purpose and hope?

In this course, which covers the first 22 chapters of Genesis, you will see that God created a beautiful world and gave people a noble calling in His creation.

Next Gen Ministry

We offer Youth Ministry for babies through High School!

A variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and other activities provide children/youth with the opportunity to learn about Jesus's wonderful love for them.

We also come alongside parents/guardians as you teach and train children/youth to live out God’s truths in their lives.

You may register them when you register for the class. Although teens need to be registered by a parent/guardian, the parent/guardian does not need to attend.

We welcome your children/youth to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our Community Bible Study Next Gen Children & Youth Ministry.
